Beautiful view from the bedrooms, relaxing and tidy rooms. Excellent service provided, we felt very welcome. Breakfast was delicious and ingredients were locally sourced. We will definitely be back. Thank you for the Stay!
The best part about the Mount Cotton retreat were the trees. It was a lovely view outside the cabin, however the cabine itself lacked in various ways. There was no scrubbing brush no tea towel or dishcloth, we had to use a face washers to wipe down benches, we struggled to have enough pots and pans to cook with and apart from almost shorty sized glassware there were only wine glasses to drink from which neither of us, drink. Sue who came to me as soon as I drove into the driveway which was manic to get to, asked me if everything was okay before I had even been inside, I was still in my car having just turned my motor off. Also I told her it was for two singles, my adult son had to sleep on a stretcher bed which ended up giving him a lot of pain in his back and shoulders. To the point he could not continue to sleep on the stretcher bed, he took the top cushions that were connected and made up a bed out of that on the floor. Which was little better. He then became sick with Gastro, a couple of days later when he was feeling well he cleaned up every last bit of sick that may not have washed down the toilet, we put all the dishes into the dishwasher and made sure the place was clean and tidy before leaving however because her cheap generic towels would dirty, which couldnt be helped as he was sick she wanted to charge us a cleaning bill. Way overpriced, we paid over $800 to stay there for three nights for two people and one had to stay on a flimsy stretcher bed, not good enough for the price. I would definitely choose another place if I had my time again.
